Faye Jenetta (Voyles) Nash departed this life on July 18, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on January 21, 1943 to Luther and Marie Voyles. Faye married her lifelong love Grover Nash on October 22, 1960. Faye is survived by her daughter, Mariea Briggs of Isabel, KS; one son, Russell (Kelly) Nash of Birch Tree, MO; one sister, Judy Rightnowar of Winona, MO; 13 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Nash; one son, Richard and daughter-in-law Daina Nash; daughter-in-law Barbara Nash; son-in-law, Clarence Briggs; two brothers, Wayne and Richard (Alice) Voyles; one brother-in-law Donald Rightnowar and one great- granddaughter, Autumn. Faye attended church when she was able and was baptized by Brother Darrell Jones. She lived her life for God. Faye was a member of staff in Winona School District and helped many children graduate Kindergarten. She worked many other jobs including being the first woman deputy sheriff of Shannon County under Sheriff Larry Rutledge. Before becoming legally blind, she loved quilting. Faye will be missed by all who knew her: Remember her with smiles, not tears. A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Assembly of God Church in Winona, MO with the Funeral Service following at noon in the Church Chapel.
