Dana Coleen Newman

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved daughter Dana Coleen Newman. She passed away at the age of 44 on April 7, 2023. Dana was born in West Plains, Mo. On July 29, 1978. She leaves her Father & Mother Timothy and Evanell (Craig) Newman. Her Brother & wife Michael Newman and Sarah (Elliott) Newman and nephews, Elliott, and Connor. An Uncle and Aunt Elroy and Lorene (Newman) Wood, An Aunt Ruby Craig and many cousins and friends. She was preceded by her grand-parents the late Loren and Lori Newman and the late Lewis and Nellie Craig. The late Uncle and Aunt Perrin and Connie Newman. The late Uncle Ted Craig. The late Aunt Glenna Lane (Craig). Dana earned two major degrees from Illinois State University. She was a talented and accomplished Artist. She was a nature lover, and animal lover, who loved to garden and had a passion for rescuing numerous dogs and cats with special needs. Dana was a kind and generous hearted to all. Her memorial service will be a private ceremony with only close family members and friends.
