Jerry Dale Tucker

Jerald Dale Tucker, of St. James, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the age of 77. He was born on November 10, 1945 in Poplar Bluff, MO to the late Bernie Tucker and Ollie (Meade) Tucker Wells. In 1966, Jerald married Darlene (Edgar) Tucker. She preceded him in death in May of 2013. He married Marilyn (Knight) Hanson Tucker on October 26, 2013. She preceded him in death on December 12, 2021. Jerry was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Walter Wells; a brother, Dennis Tucker; three sisters, Mary Hubert, Glenna Hampton and Shirley Arthur; one sister-in-law, Bobbie Tucker; and three brothers-in-law, Pete Arthur, Coe Haynes and Mike Hayes. Jerry put his faith first, loved family, being involved in church, following local High School basketball, gardening, bowling, and golfing with buddies. He will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: three children, Ron Tucker and wife, Jannien of St. Peters, MO, Darren Tucker of St. Peters, MO and Tara Marchello and husband, Nick of Roeland Park, KS; three stepsons, Jim Hanson and wife, Jennifer of Ft. Wayne, IN, Michael Hanson and wife, Chris of St. James, Mo and Bill Hanson and wife, Tera of Chicago, IL; brothers and sisters, Jim Tucker, Richard Tucker and wife, Sharon, Carolyn Corbo and husband, Nick, Joyce Hayes, Linda Zghall and husband, Lazhar, Roger Tucker and wife, Sherry, Clifford Tucker and wife, Tina, David Tucker and wife, Amy, Debbie Gish and husband, Allen, Patty Forest and husband, Jim, and Connie Tucker; two grandchildren, Adam Tucker and wife, Hailey and Taylor Tucker; and step grandchildren, Julia, Jacob, Joshua, Jillian, Jeremiah, Mallory, Trent, Rianna, Scarlett and Rohan. A funeral service for Jerry Tucker will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Greentree Christian Church in Rolla, MO. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11 at the church. Interment will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13 at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens Cemetery in St. Charles, MO.
