Lynda “Dianne” Johnston

Lynda “Dianne” Johnston of Winona, Missouri, was born on August 4, 1949, in

Raymondville, Missouri. She departed life at the age of 72, on March 25, 2022, at St. L u k e ’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri . On August 15, 1964, Lynda was united in marriage to her husband of 56 years, William “Junior” Johnston. They were married in Wi n o n a , Missouri, and to this union, two daughters were born, Connie and Tracy. Dianne was a loving woman and enjoyed playing games with her mom, sister, and A u n t “ Ti n y." She enjoyed scrap- booking and crafting with her friends, sewing with Connie, getting her nails done with Tracy, and spending as much time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as she could. Dianne was loved by many people and had many friends. During their retire- ment, Dianne and Junior loved going to their camper on the lake, where they enjoyed riding the boat and barbecuing together and with their friends and family who visited. They spent many summer days at the lake together. Dianne is survived by two daughters, Connie Weber and husband, Glen of Timber, MO, and Tracy Haynes and husband, Mike of Mountain View, MO; five grandchildren, Victoria Shepherd and husband, Dustin of Salem, MO, Slade Weber of Timber, MO, Breona Anderson and husband, Austin of Centerview, MO, Ethan Haynes of Waynesboro , GA, and William Haynes and wife, Kymberly of Mountain View, MO; eleven great-grand- children, Ben Shepherd, Will Shepherd, Caleb Meeker, Hannah Meeker, Grace Shepherd, Summer A n d e r s o n , Blake Renegar, Cayson Anderson, Brilynn Renegar, William Haynes, and Esme Haynes; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Johnston, Jr; her parents, George and Patricia Martin; and her sister, Louise Martin and husband, A r v i n . Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Pastor Jeff Brake off i c i a ting. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 6-8:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment was in Horner Cemetery, Winona , Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
