Rose Mary Thomas

Rose Mary Thomas was born Feb. 13, 1939 in a dirt floor cabin at Round Springs Missouri to Ed Self and Jennie Alene (Smith) Self. She passed away on March 14, 2022 in her home of 62 years in Eminence Missouri at the age of 83 years old. She was united in marriage to Earlin Joe Thomas. Earlin proceeded her in death on August 27, 2019. She is also proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers James (Bud) Self and Ray Self, two sisters Susan Johns and Edalene Dailey. She is survived by one sister Jennie Pyrtle “Tootie” of Poplar Bluff Missouri, two sons Seven Thomas (Kathi) of Winona Missouri, Kenneth Thomas (Sarah) of Eminence Missouri, nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Rose Mary’s passion was visiting and cooking for others, she enjoyed gardening and helping others. She loved her family and friends and would do anything for anyone, no matter what time it was. If Rose was on your side you might as well have an army. Rose was of a kind and will be greatly missed .
