Donald Ervin Christian, 82, of Eminence, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on July 28, 2026.
Donald was born in Waterloo, IA on April 6, 1944, the son of Ervin and Beth (Walker) Christian. Don graduated from Dunkerton High School in 1963. On April 30, 1965, he was married to Linda Moulds, they later divorced. Don worked for 36 years at John Deere as a machinist, retiring in 2000.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, showing dogs, and riding horses. Most of all, he loved motorcycling with his cousin, Rod Walker, traveling the United States and twice to Alaska on a Harley.
Don moved to Eminence in March of 2015. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Colson on October 15, 2015. Don & Marilyn are members of Jack Fork Country Church.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin & Beth Christian, and a niece, Renee Murray.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Marilyn; children: daughter, Stacia (Robert) Hagedorn; son, Eric Christian; grandchildren: Amber (Dylan) Isakson, Jacob Axon, and Royce Christian; sister, Carmen Gutmann; nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends.
A graveside funeral service was held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the Flatwoods Cemetery with Pastor Howell Burkhead and Allen Akers officiating.
