Donna Leann Abbey of Winona, MO formerly of Boulder City, NV and Canadian, TX, passed away on April 8, 2026. Leann was born in Mountain View, MO on June 13, 1959, the daughter of the late Kenneth Lovins and Evelyn (Wakefield) Lovins.
Those who knew Leann remember her most for the way she could make any stranger feel like family. Driven by her kindness, love, and deep care for people around her, Leann chose a career in nursing and touched the lives of everyone she met. Leann found humor in every situation and was quick to laugh and smile. She enjoyed flowers, the ocean, and watching NCIS marathons. Her selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever.
Leann is survived by her husband, Mark; daughter Rebecca Abbey and her husband, James Dewey of Las Vegas, NV; and daughter Vanessa (Abbey) Riggs and her husband, Billy Riggs of Winona, MO. Leann was a devoted grandmother to Mikayla, Damon, and Waylon Riggs and greatgrandmother to Kiya and Wylder. Sister of T.C. Lovins of Canadian, TX. She also leaves behind many close extended family members including cousins, nieces and nephews, and beloved friends.
Leann will be missed by all who knew her.
Cremation Rites have been accorded with no public services planned at this time.
