Dale was married to Opal Norris, and three children were blessed to this union, Ronald, Macky, and Tammie. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katie Redman; two sisters, Wanda Yeoger and Donna Washburn; and two brothers, Robert and Macky Redman. Survivors include his children, Ronald (Sonia) Redman, Macky (Lisa) Redman, and Tammie (Joe) Johnson, all of Winona, MO; sisters, Betty Counts and Linda Washburn, both of Winona; brothers, Paul, Melvin, and Richard Redman all of Winona; 6 grandchildren who he truly loved, Michelle Redman, Susan Redman, Skipper Redman, Nikki Redman, Pennie (Jesse) Daily, and Rocky (Emily) Daily; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren ; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he truly enjoyed. Dale, who was better known as "Bass," was a loving father and grandfather. He never met a stranger and loved to strike up a conversation with whoever was willing to visit with him. Dale and his family loved to go camping back in his younger days on the banks of Current River with good friends Wilbur and Glendala McAfee and their kids. He would load his pickup about every weekend to head to the river to fish and camp. They would come home on Sunday to go back to work on Monday just to do it all over again the following weekend.

Dale, Opal, his sister-in- law, Nellie Myers, and brother-in-law, Ed Myers, enjoyed playing and singing gospel music at local churches and benefits. He was a hard worker his entire life and worked in the log woods and sawmills, man- aging farms for others, and working at Paramount Corporation. For several years, Dale worked along- side a long-time friend, Oscar Fears, in the saw maintenance shop for Kerr- McGee. They enjoyed deer hunting together and spent many hours and miles doing so, with other good friends, Gab Bland, Donnie Norton, Rex Vermillion, his brother Paul Redman, and child- hood friend Sandford Alcorn. Dale worked hard his entire life until his retirement due to health issues. He was well known and liked in the community and will always be remembered fondly, but sadly missed by his family and friends. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Horner Cemetery with Danny Kile officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri.
