Ckarles (Charley) Crider

Charles (Charley) L. Crider of Shannon County, MO who raised his family in Byrnes Mill, MO was born April 24th, 1959 to Austin and Rosita (nee Dorow) Crider and entered into rest on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters (Donna Bilbrey, Rena Tush, Nada Clements and Rhonda Ely); three brothers (Marvin Crider, Leroy Crider and Gernon (Butch) Crider. He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Beverly (nee Bruce) Crider, three children, Kirk (Nathan Coleman) Crider, Valerie (Michael) Ecker, and Alicia Crider; three grandchildren, Charlotte, Daxton and Garamond; five siblings, Carol Dizmang, Paul Crider, Keith Crider, Jerry Crider and Shirley Trogdon along with many other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. For those that really know Charley (although he didn’t know a stranger), it’s easy to reflect on how he was such a blessing to have in our lives. Charley loved and appreciated the simple things in life – spending time with his family and enjoying the peace and beauty of nature. His family is fortunate to have countless memories of their time with him camping in Eminence, where his heart was always full; camp cookouts of his grilled chicken (the BEST!) smothered in beer and Natures Seasoning, that almost never got done until dark; Sundays at home listening to bluegrass on his little out- door radio. Charley was easy to be around and always made you feel like you were part of his family. He had an open ear to listen and offered his wise advice when asked. We are so grateful for the time we had with him. Rest easy and until we meet again, all of our love. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTU- ARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri.
